Counselor Lutterodt Advises Sarkodie Not To Mary His Baby Mama Because Of The Baby If He Is Not Ready To

image
Widely known controversial marriage counselor – George Lutterodt on the RunDown Show with Joojo on TV Africa, has sent a word of caution to multiple local and international award winning rapper and the latest celebrity dad – Sarkodie to not marry his long time  girlfriend – Tracy, who is now his baby mama if he is not ready to do so.

He believes Sarkodie will most likely face challenges in the marriage should he go ahead to marry his baby mama merely because she has a baby with him.
The counselor who was speaking on the subject of why celebrity marriages easily fail, disclosed that it is very difficult for celebrities to have and keep marriage partners because the most often than not are not able to select the right companions because they have a lot of ladies at their disposal who are ready to give them what they want on a silver platter.

I Kissed Efya Once - Sarkodie Confesses

Ghanaian songstress, Jane Awindor, popularly known as Efya, has chosen to have fun over marriage.

She has hinted that she prefers to remain single than to get married. She explains that even if she would get married, it would be in about a decade to come. This, according to her, will enable her live a happy life, something she believes getting married may ruin.

The love life of the silky songstress took centre stage in the Ghanaian media when rumours went viral on the various social media platforms that she was dating rapper Sarkodie.

Sarkodie responded swiftly denying the rumours but confessed kissing Efya on set as they were shooting his hit track ‘I’m in Love with You’. Speaking on ‘Showbiz Filla’ on Hitz FM, Efya said that she is now concentrating more on making money than getting marriage.

Efya further told Amanda Jisseh on the show that there is nothing enjoyable about marriage especially in today’s generation. “I want to be successful so I don’t want anything complicated. I don’t want to get married and get divorced then my kids will have to move from one house to the other,” she said.

The ‘Best In Me’ hit singer however said that she is optimistic that she would one day meet the special gentleman of her life who will understand her and accept her justthe way she is. “I can get anybody I want, so when I am ready I will give it the chance,” she said with a beam of a smile in her face.

Okyeame Quophi Is A Liar – Reggie Rockstone Defends Sarkodie

reggie_sark_1
Reggie Rockstone who is not pleased with the former Akyeame member’s comment, questioned the intent for making such a statement few hours after the successful show in New York adding that it was not necessary for him to have said that.
Reggie Rockstone who said he was supposed to be part of the 2000 concert at the Appollo Theatre, told Abantepa on Radio Univeres that
“With what Quophi is saying, Ashantis have a saying like “and so what?”. Some things are not important to say and even if you want to say them, the timing makes you look bad. It even makes it look like you are jealous.
This is Sarkodie’s time, your time came and its gone so what are you going to gain from coming out to say this? First of all, Sarkodie never said he is the only one making history.”
Recounting what happened years ago at the Appollo Theatre, Reggie Rockstone said on Radio Universe that Daddy Lumba was the headline artiste for the show in question because he was huge at that time not Akyeame who were opening acts for the show. He further stated that Sarkodie made history over the weekend with his concert because he is the first Ghanaian rapper to headline a sold out concert at the Appollo Theatre in New York.
“Now another thing Quophie is not telling the people is, Lumba was the headline act for that show not you. Lumba was a bigger artiste and you were the opening acts. Sarkodie is not an opening act but the headliner…so that is historical so he shouldn’t distort it.”

Okyeame Quophi came out hours after Sarkodie had his “History In The Making Concert” at the Appollo Theatre to say that his former group, Akyeame made history at the Appollo Theater in 2000 so Sarkodie should not distort the information.
This is what he wrote
“Akyeame Was the first Hiplife Duo to play at the AppolloTheatre to a mix crowd so huge the police came to stop the show. This was in 2000 with daddy lumber.Don’t distort the history.
Which history is in the making??”

Sarkodie feels like a mini god who can't be attacked- Mark Okraku-Mantey fires Sarkodie

Okraku mantey interview 22 lovinggh.com_
Sarkodie History in The Making Concert might be long over, but one can be sure the controversies and drama are still a long way from dying off. Mark Okarku-Mentey revealed that Sarkdie's fans make him feel like he is a mini god, and that he can't be attacked when he does something wrong.
In an exclusive interview with lovinggh.com, ace producer and entertainment critic Mark Okraku Mantey has called out the youth and younger generation of Ghana for hailing Sarkodie as the greatest when in fact many achieved greater feats than him in the past.
According to the producer and artist manager, the problem stems from the fact that the youth of today don’t think about the past. They think history is irrelevant.
“Everything they do today, they think it’s the ultimate” – Mark said sarcastically.
“Osibisa, Acheampong Brothers, and others, had bigger global hits in their day. Carlos Sekyi played in a band that went to No. 1 in the UK years back.
Do you even know Eric Agyemang’s song was used as a soundtrack for a foreign movie?
The problem is we don’t keep records so when something happens today, we pick it and say this is the biggest thing that has ever happened in Gh music but it is simply not true.”
So is Sarkodie first Ghanaian ever to perform at the Apollo Theater in New York?
“No! it is not true!” – Mark fired back.
Following Okyeame Quophi of Akyeame fame’s tweets that sought to set the record straight about Sarkodie’s so-called historic Apollo Theater show last Saturday, lots of Sark fans have come out to ‘diss’ Okyeame Quophi claiming the latter is just ‘hating’.
This hasn’t gone down well at all with Mark Okraku, a well known outspoken Sarkodie critic.
“I pity all those people saying negative things about Okyeame Quophi. What did he say wrong? He just wanted to set the record straight. And the truth is Akyeame did perform at the Apollo Theater 15 years ago in the year 2000. You can ask Lumba, Okyeame Kwame and co. They will tell you. Should we allow Sarkodie to distort history and we pamper him just because we worship him in Ghana?” – the Hitzfm producer quipped.
“When I decided to go into the entertainment industry, I made sure I did my homework and studied not only the studio part but also the history as well. You can’t build your future if you don’t know your history.
When people distort the facts, they need to be set straight. If you are talking about first to perform at the Apollo, it was Akyeame not Sarkodie. And if you are comparing the magnitude of the two concerts to determine who was more successful, then that becomes a very subjective matter. But the first is still the first.” – he further added.
“There is no disputing the fact that Sarkodie is one of the biggest things that has happened to our music, in our time. As in today, but not in the history of Ghana as if all the past musicians did nothing.”
Is it skilled calculated PR or rather irresponsible communication that led Sarkodie to make such a ‘historical blunder’?
For now, we will all have to play the guessing game as neither Sark nor his management has come out to make an official statement disclaiming Quophi’s accusations.

PROPHET PREDICTS DOOM FOR SARKODIE, DUMELO

Sarkodie, Dumelo

A Kumasi-based Prophet has warned Hiplife musician, Sarkodie and Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo to repent from
their ‘evil ways’ or risk losing their lives in the next few weeks.
Prophet Emmanuel Gyamfi said on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall Programme on Saturday that the fastest rapper
and the internationally acclaimed actor are targets of several misfortunes for rebelling against God and winning
souls for the devil.
“God made me see that he, Sarkodie has rebelled against Him (God) and have been winning souls for the other part,
that is the devil and this would happen live for all to see that the man of God said it…,” he said.
According to the Prophet of Emmanuel Power House Chapel, the duo has three weeks to repent from their evil ways
as a means of mitigating the punishments meant for them.
The man of God said further that God revealed the impending misfortunes to him in a vision one Sunday morning
when he meditated on the word of God after his devotion.
“In the vision, I saw the hand of God appear from the skies and struck Sarkodie unto the ground…I was the one
who helped him to his feet…” he narrated.
Prophet Emmanuel continued that God later told him that He struck Sarkodie unto the ground because he (Sarkodie)
in recent times has been using his popularity to win more souls for the devil instead of using the talent to praise him.
“God through his abundant mercies gave him three weeks to repent from winning souls for the devil or he will die…,”
he said.
The Kumasi-based Prophet further said that even if Sarkodie repents from his evil deeds, he would still suffer some
misfortune as ‘it is never an easier thing for the hand of God to strike you down.’
“Even if he recovers, there would be great changes in his body…,” the man of God explained further.
On the celebrated actor, the Prophet Emmanuel said he has also been treading similar paths like Sarkodie and his
punishment would include a serious motor accident and imprisonment.
“John Dumelo would be involved in an issue which would lead to the prisons…not even all his wealth and power
would save him from this case…,” he said.
Dumelo, he said, would never return from prison custody as he would die there.
The man of God who also claimed that John Dumelo had also been winning souls for the devil said he would be
 involved in a tragic accident.
The man of God said he was not seeking popularity through the prophecy as he was already an ‘international
prophet’ and has been prophesying about several events including the Castro issue.
To reverse the curses placed on the two entertainment personalities, Prophet Emmanuel called on the two entertainment
guys in Ghana, to approach him at his base in Kumasi for deliverance.
“They should come to Kumasi to meet me since I saw the vision and can best work to clear it,” he said.
On Castro and Janet Bandu, the International Prophet said their families are to blame as they did not approach him initially
 to search for them.
“His family was stubborn if they had approached me earlier, Castro would be out by now, but they consulted Malams
and other spiritualists first…they came for my number and has since not returned,” he said.

BET Rep Fires Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and others- "Why haven’t you cleared the air already?"

Rights & Research Administrator for BET's Business & Legal Affairs, Lilian Blankson has urged honorees  of BET to speak up!

Read her tweets below.
“BET will always signify Black Star Power… Africa, if we want to be featured prominently, we need to know the facts and be very practical.
First of all, tell the truth and stop tweeting lies and mistruths. There has never been a backstage presentation of any award. Pre recorded.
We need to work hard and get our music on the radio here in the US. How do ppl respect ur brand when you are not on the radio?
Make your music more internationally appealing… Think of ways to get all audiences invested. Oliver Twist is a great example. Universal story.
Folks worked so so hard to provide a platform for Africa on the network. We won’t get there overnight. And misinformation won’t help.
BET domestic does not and has never aired African music so to have a category is a major deal. Let’s prove and show them our worth not anger.
The artists who have been honored – why haven’t you cleared the air and told the truth abt what happened! Why the silence???
Out of 19 categories, only 4 or 5 make air. This is standard in Award Shows. If the US artists are not outraged and complaining, why are we?
Performances sell Awards shows & make ratings, not the categories. Lets step up our game & get our music so big they can no longer ignore it.
If you choose to fly down and watch the show and not do press who exactly do you think is affected or missing out? Think about it.
Let’s try and keep our category and know the facts. It does nothing to the network to tale it away – but it sends us back several steps.
Finally, let’s be a little humble. No one owes us anything. Like everything else, we have to work our way to the top so we can stay there.
Nothing has ever come easy to us Africans. But anything worth having will not be a cake walk. Started from the bottom, but we here.”
Lilian N. Blankson was in charge of producing special productions such as BET’s 25th Anniversary, The BET Awards Show, Celebration of Gospel, Rip The Runway, Comedy Awards, Walk of Fame, Spring Bling, and the Hip Hop Awards for the BET network.

Lilian also produced and directed the first African Cypher on BET that featured Sarkodie and also helped in the execution of the BET International act category.

Review on Sarkodie’s debut single off Mary Album ‘Mewu’

If you did not enjoy his New Guy single with America rapper Ace hood because perhaps you were not a hip hop fan, brace up for this new one because it is a classic song the evinces the versatility in Ghana’s “rap god”, Sarkodie.
Music lovers would soon listen to a brand new song from Sarkodie that features smooth singer and songwriter extraordinaire Akwaboah. The style used in the making of this new song is a mass departure from any song Sarkodie has ever done.
Titled Mewu, the song simply talks about a man who misses his lover to the marrow, imploring her to come or else he would die. The theme is an ordinary one but the craftiness with which the lyrics have been stringed makes it so refreshing to listen to.
The three minutes thirty – eight seconds [3:38] song starts with Sarkodie doing few lines as a prelude to the song (it appears that is actually the first verse). He talks about how he misses his lover and how eager he is to meet her. Then Akwaboah comes in singing some beautiful lines roping in the chorus: É”dÉ” yewu amma a, É”dÉ” amma a, mewu mahyÉ› no oo. 4x” There is a backing of female vocals to complement the chorus.
Sarkodie comes back after the chorus to deliver the second verse and asks his lover to fulfil her promise of returning to him, again pleading on people to tell her to come before he dies from missing her. The chorus repeats, till fade.
The beat is in the 6/8 time signature. By this I mean, it goes like the agbadza or adowa rhythm but employs modern musical instruments but with the traditional feel from the strings. Similar rhythms have been used by most Ghanaian musicians including Barimah in African Money, R2Bees’ Love and Becca’s No Away.
This type of rhythm is quite common among Africans and forms a part of the poly – rhythms in Africa. Most rappers shy away from this rhythm because to them it limits their flow, an indication that it takes a good rapper like Sarkodie to perfectly deliver on such a beat.
Mewu is a danceable tune that can be enjoyed at social functions and for personal relaxation.
The wow – factor of the songs is the fact that it was recorded live; something that is not common among Ghanaian rappers.
Sarkodie represents versatility and would go a long way to satisfy different strands of people with different styles of music.
With production done by Akwaboah whom he featured on the song as well, one can only anticipate a great album since the track list for Mary suggests a few more joints together.
Unlike previous albums that had very amazing songs that were however not promoted, I only pray that Sarkodie does not kill the life of this new single by releasing other singles weeks after as it marks the beginning of a new era.
Mewu drops on Sarkodie’s birthday July 10 2015 via Tigo Deezer, iTunes and other platforms for purchase.
You wanna hear a snippet of the song, come back later!!
